- Explore programs available to you and get familiar with the application process.
- Visit the affiliated provider’s websites to learn more about the university/provider.
- Book an appointment with the 出国留学 Coordinator to discuss your program choice(s), 课程作业和经济援助.
Start an application by choosing a program and clicking “Apply Now”.

Once you create an application, a checklist will appear to guide you through the process. You will need to complete the following materials in your application:

Once all items have a check in the box next to them, you can hit “Submit”!
After you have been accepted to your program by Montclair, you will complete the application for the program provider (ISA, 东航, 坐, CCIS, 等.). Post-acceptance
You will need to complete the following materials in your application:

Courses taken abroad/away should help you progress toward graduation. You must meet with your academic advisor (or major/minor advisor) to determine how your credits will count. Indicate the 课程 you will be taking at the host institution equivalent to those you would be taking at MSU. The 课程 must be approved by the department chair of the subject you are studying abroad. 当你和导师见面的时候, provide the advisor (or chair) with course descriptions or syllabus for the 课程 that need approval. Please 不e that every department needs their own form. You can include more than one class on a form if it is in the same department.

Then the Registrar circulates it electronically for signatures by chairs and Provost’s office, 必要时.

This form will be referenced when IAI receives your official transcript from your study abroad program to request the transfer of credits.

The Office of 国际学术活动 requires ALL students to enroll in Aetna OnCall. This plan is in addition to your current health coverage and 不能 是放弃.

Based on your location you will receive alerts that could potentially impact your travel or safety. All students are required to download AlertTraveler app and enroll through their online study abroad application. Students are required to attend mandatory 离岗前方向. Students will be given important information on Health and Safety, 政策及程序, 与文化适应.
如果你住在校园里, reach the Office of Residence Life to cancel your on-campus housing contracts for the semester you are abroad. Meal plans should be canceled by contacting Dining Services.
Students will be enrolled in a full-time enrollment placeholder course for the term they are abroad. This course will appear on the transcript to maintain full-time enrollment while the student is away. Once the international transcript is received and processed, 海外转学课程也将出现. The placeholder course will also remain on the transcript.
